Kelly Leischner Kilmer passed away suddenly Jan. 31, 2015, at Billings Clinic.
Kelly was born in Billings on Sept. 13, 1960. She grew up and attended school in Hardin, graduating from Hardin High School in 1978. Kelly was known for her kind heart and generous ways always putting others' happiness before her own. She enjoyed riding motor cycles, camping, and spending time with friends and family. As a young child Kelly enjoyed going to the ranch with her grandpa Leischner to ride horses and spend time with them. Kelly married Shorty Benzel and they brought into this world their daughter Michelle. They later divorced and Kelly moved to Portland, Ore., where she met Kelly Lett and they brought into this world their son Christopher.
Kelly had three grandchildren, Madison, Riley and Zane, and she dearly loved and cherished them. Kelly moved back home to Billings and was working at Homewood Suites where in a short time she had a list of new friends. She enjoyed time with her niece Heather and the girls from work on their Wednesday nights for beer bingo.
Kelly is survived by her "mother"; brother Jay; daughter Michelle; son Christopher; niece Heather; her loving grandchildren: Madison, Riley and Zane; stepfather Richard Haworth; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother Carol Haworth; father Bill Leischner; brother Jeff; birth father Floyd Harper Jr.; and grandparents Leischners and Huglens.
