Logan James Shedd
Logan James Shedd was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on Nov. 4, 2023. Jim, as he was known, was born on March 8, 1925, in Deadwood, South Dakota. For 67 years Jim, along with his wife Marilyn, he had businesses in Deadwood. In 2019, Jim and Marilyn moved to Billings to be close to family.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Sandra Mammenga (Terry); grandchildren Jennifer Kondracki (Brian), Jeri Kelley (Chris), Jodi Waggoner (Steve), John Mammenga and Mark Mammenga (Jamie); his great-grandchildren Alexa and James Kondracki, Andrew and Bridget Kelley, and Ellie and Eli Mammenga; his sister-in-law, Ruth Stearns; and wonderful nieces and nephews and their spouses.
A visitation viewing for family and friends will be from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, 1001 Alderson Ave. in Billings.
A joint celebration of life service for Jim and Marilyn Shedd will at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at St. John's Episcopal Church, Deadwood, South Dakota, with interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Spearfish, South Dakota. A lunch reception will be held at noon at the VFW in Deadwood.
