Mabel Pearl Miller, 95, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at Evergreen Laurel Health and Rehab.
Mabel was born Feb. 7, 1914, the daughter of Walt and Mary Honneywell. She married Jake Miller, Feb. 16, 1933. They farmed west of Billings. After Jake's passing in 1970, Mabel married Alec Miller on July 29, 1971.
Mabel is survived by a son, Bob (Mary Jane) Miller; a daughter, Donna Bernhardt; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, her mother and father, a sister and two brothers, and son-in-law Donald Bernhardt.
Mabel loved life and worked like a man. She enjoyed spending time with all of her family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening and playing cards. Mabel was a member of Pilgrim Congregational Church.
We love you and will miss you. May you rest peacefully!
Mabel's family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the caregivers at Evergreen Laurel Health and Rehab for the loving care they gave her.
Visitations will begin at noon on Sunday, Nov. 22, at Smith Downtown Chapel, 925 S. 27th St. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 409 S. 36th St., with interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
