Ronald Knier Obituary

On Nov. 5, 2004, Ron passed away quietly in his sleep, after a long illness.
Ron was born March 15, 1960, in Olean, N.Y., to Ronald Sr. and Jane (Cornwall) Knier.
Ron was a jack of all trades, but the job he enjoyed the most was being a sawyer (firefighter) for the California Department of Forestry and the U.S. Forest Service.
Ron is preceded in death by his father Ron Sr.; maternal and paternal grandparents; and his uncles Earl and Roy Sr. He is survived by his wife, Ellen, of 17 years; children, Matthew Paul, Cheryl Jane and Sierra Roberta, all of Billings, Jolee Roberts of Weed, Calif., Laureen Weresch, Justin Knier of Dunsmeara, Calif., and Ashley Ann Miner-Knier of Medford, Ore.; parents Paul and Jane Gannon of Weed; brothers Charles Gannon, Eureka, Calif., and Gary Gannon; favorite mother-in-law, Bobbie Aderholt of Snowflake, Ariz.; father-in-law Bill Allison, Stockton, Calif.; brother-in-law Keith and Nicole Allison of Denver; Miss Sally Knier and Mr. Curtis Knier, Olean; along with numerous cousins along the East Coast; and many close friends.
Cards may be sent to POB 438, Billings, MT 59103.
Memorial service will be on Nov. 12, at 11 a.m. in Central Park, Billings. Cremation has taken place.
