My sincere condolences to the Merchant Family in the loss of your loved one and a life well-lived. Please find comfort in knowing God is close to the brokenhearted and keeps our loved ones in His memory. May the God of all comfort give you peace, strength and hope in the days ahead (Jeremiah 29:11,12).

I was saddened of your Mother's death. She and I were members of Palmes Memorial Chapel-later named Westside UMC. I knew her at a very early age, since I was baptized there at 6 weeks old. She was a wonderful pianist, and later organist. She was only 10 years older than I. Her stepmother lived down the street from us. My parents were Carl and Nocie Simpson. My prayers are with you at this difficult time. SHE WAS A WONDERFUL LADY and will be greatly missed by her church. God Bless!

I know you don't know me, but my parents were Carl and Nocie Simpson. I was baptized at Westside at an early age. (6 weeks), so I remember your Mother from an early age. Her stepmother lived down the street from us. I remember your mother playing the piano at a very early age. She was really a good pianist and dedicated to the Lord and the Church.
I'm so sorry for your loss, and I feel it, too, as she was only 10 years older than me.
My prayers and sympathy are with you in this time of sorrow. WHAT A GREAT LADY !!!
