Charles Gustafson Obituary
August 15, 2025
Charles "Chuck" Gustafson, 76, of Dodge, North Dakota, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, August 15, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family after a brief illness. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. CT on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Prince Of Peace Lutheran Church in Beulah, with Pastor Scott Pierson officiating. Burial will follow at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be from 5 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah.
Chuck is survived by his wife Wanda; daughters, Lori (Mark) Klein and Sara Gustafson; grandchildren, Charles Joseph, Jenna, and Nora Klein; sisters, Sheila (Larry) Miller and Rita (Keith) Nodland; brother, Jim; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hilmer and Hilda Gustafson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Western ND Honor Flight or Quilts of Valor, continuing Chuck's legacy of honor, service, and love.
Arrangements are conducted by Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.

I was flying to Washington DC on an Honor Flight along with this gentleman sitting beside me. I struck up a conversation with him and lo and behold it was Chuck. I hadn´t seen Chuck for many years and we had a great conversation about growing up in the 60s in the Dodge and Halliday area. He was traveling with his daughter as his eyesight was getting bad. My condolences to the Gustafson family.
