Eric Henninger Obituary

Eric Henninger

Eric Henninger, 69, of Bismarck, passed away on July 16, 2024, at CHI St. Alexius due to complications during heart surgery.

Eric was born in 1954 to Zena and Robert Henninger, on a Naval base in Africa. Eric grew up in Bismarck and married his high school sweetheart, Janelle (O'Connor). They had three amazing children, Erin, Andrew, and Lyndsey. Eric worked at Cedric Theel for over four decades and "retired" two years ago, when he started the best job ever - driving the courtesy car and chatting with customers all day. Eric was a car lover and was always ready to talk about cars.

Eric is survived by his wife, Janelle Henninger; children Erin Henninger, Andrew Henninger, Lyndsey (Nick) Suko; grandchildren Aubrie, Dylan, and Rylan, nieces Susanna and Melanie, sister-in-law Camie O'Connor, and mother-in-law Bertha O'Connor.

Eric is preceded in death by his infant daughter, parents, two brothers, and his much-loved dog Maggie.

All who knew Eric will deeply miss him, including his friends and extended family.

Family will greet visitors from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM, Saturday, July 20, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 East Divide Ave, Bismarck.
