Frances Grace (Iblings) Neff, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, sweetheart, companion, seamstress, singer, chef, baker, co-worker and neighbor has gracefully accepted God's invitation to become royalty in His kingdom of everlasting love on the morning of Dec. 14, 2016.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19, at Bismarck Baptist Church, 2211 E. LaForest Ave., Bismarck, with the Rev. Bryan Hochhalter officiating. Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bismarck Baptist Church.
Frances was born in Hettinger County on June 14, 1936, the daughter of William and Esther (Okken) Iblings. She grew up on the family farm and completed the eighth grade in a one-room rural school. She went on to graduate from New Leipzig High School in 1954. Following graduation, Frances stayed on the farm for five years to help with the work since her mother passed away in September 1953.
Frances moved to Bismarck in 1959. She worked at the Baptist Home and also at JCPenney. Frances married Dean Neff, the love of her life, on Feb. 18, 1961, and together they raised their three children, Charlotte, Cheryl and Corey. She stayed home to raise her children and in 1991, Frances went to work at Medcenter One, where she worked for 10 years.
Frances enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing and mending, music and going to church.
She is survived by her husband, Dean Neff, Bismarck; her daughters, Charlotte (Alan) Sather and Cheryl Frederick, both of Bismarck; her son, Corey (Amy) Neff, Underwood; her grandchildren, Katherine (Jonathan) Paul, Amanda Sather, Tyler and Travis Frederick, Megan (Jeremy) Hofland, Rachel (Eric) Paul, Lisa Neff and Mariah Neff; her great-grandchildren, Aaden, Zoey, Pyper and Miles Frederick, Jayden and Caysen Hofland and Lainey Paul; her sister, Marion (Duane) Jorstad; her sister-in-law, Elaine Neff; and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lester Dale (Pat) Neff.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Esther (Okken) Iblings; her brothers, Earl and Melvin Iblings; and her brother-in-law, Marvin Neff.
