.Gottlieb Breckel
Gottlieb Breckel, 92, of Bismarck, ND, passed away on November 19, 2022, at his home.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Bismarck Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery at 3:00 PM.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 28, 2022 from 6:00-7:00 PM at Bismarck Funeral Home, Bismarck, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Gottlieb worked for my dad (and mom) for many years at his furniture stores and was considered part of our family. My siblings and I, along with numerous cousins and friends of ours that also worked at the store at various times, have very fond memories of him. He was a kind man, a strong man, and a very hard-working man.

We were friends with all the Breckel Family but remember Gottlieb as a kind and compassionate person always willing to help when you needed help with anything, We also have many memories of Gottlieb knowing everything about Ford Model A´s and hauling all those kids in it. We also attended the same church and he was active in the youth program. He was a dear friend
And will be missed. May God comfort Gottlieb´s family!

Gottlieb worked for my parents for a few years in the mid 1950s when they owned a farm in Emmons County. I remember him as being a truely kind soul with a smile on his face. Edward was my teacher and during the summer he also worked for my dad. They remained friends of my parents through out the years. The world needs more people like Gottlieb and his brother, Edward!
