Linda Danielson
Our beloved Linda Jean Danielson passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the age of 65.
She is survived by her husband, Randy, her sons, Michael and Christopher, her mother, Ann Bogers, her sisters, Connie (Dennis) and Diane (Jim), and her brother-in-law, Rick Lucas.
She is preceded in death by her father (Gerald Bogers), her sister (Audrey) and her brothers (Michael and Gerald Jr.).
Linda grew up in Halliday where she graduated in 1974. Randy and Linda met while they were attending Bismarck Junior College and they were married in 1975. Throughout their life, they lived many places including Jamestown and Bismarck, ND; St. Cloud, North Branch and Woodbury, MN; and finally retired in Crossville, TN in 2020.
Linda was not afraid to work hard. She held a variety of jobs throughout her life and spent the last 21 years of her career working in HR/Benefits at Ramsey County. She was excited to retire in 2020 and looking forward to spending her retirement in Crossville, TN with the love of her life, Randy. Even though they only had limited time, they spent many days exploring the beautiful mountainous area while looking for antique stores.
Linda was the epitome of a caretaker. Family and friends were everything to Linda and she was always trying to take care of each and every one of us. No one loved life and others like she did. She would walk into the room and brighten it with her smile. Her hugs were unmatched and always made you feel better. Her presence filled your soul with a sense of comfort and love. Everyone who has met her knows this feeling. She will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Celebration of Linda's Life on Friday, April 22 from 2-4 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Bismarck.

I´m so very sorry to hear of Linda´s passing. Our paths would cross in my work at Human Services. Linda was always full of energy to help in whatever way she could - going above and beyond. And Linda´s smile would light up the room. Her work mattered and her attitude and presence leave a lasting memory as well. May she Rest In Peace. Randy and family, I am thinking of you. Take good care.

My sincere condolences to Linda's family and friends. I'm truly sorry I haven't stayed in touch with her since we graduated in 1974 from Halliday High School, but we went to school together since the 4th grade and I will always remember her as a sweet, kind, and beautiful friend. Part of the Class of 1974!

Linda is truly one of those people who makes an impact on your life. I always enjoyed talking to her, and it was usually about more than just work. She has so many different gifts - her smile and sunny disposition is the one most of us will always remember. She also was a great crafter - I have a few of her pieces - as well as a great listener and truly loved life. She always had a twinkle in her eye.... A part of Linda will always be in our hearts.

It was a joy to connect with Linda! I had occasion to need her assistance a number of times in her HR capacity. I am so sorry to know her time to enjoy retirement years was so limited. I send my condolences to Linda´s family.

Linda helped all of us retirees prior to her retirement to get the info we needed to make that big decision. Her knowledgeable of what decisions to make when and then to help with the processing and the timing of the forms made the process very understandable. Thank you for sharing her with us .

I am so sorry for your loss. Linda worked in the Human Services Personnel Office. I had the privilege of meeting her at work. She went out of her way to help all, had a great smile, a great sense of humor and was kind to everyone. She could lighten up any situation with her humor. After she moved to another office, I would run into her in the skyway and at meetings. It was always fun to see her and hear her perspective on issues. Such a great Lady! My thoughts are prayers are with her family.
