Michael Stringer Obituary

Michael (Mike) N. Stringer, 49, Bismarck, died Oct. 20, 2003, at his home, after a long battle with cancer. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Weigel Funeral Home Chapel, Mandan, with sharing of his life beginning at 7 p.m.

Mike was born March 20, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Art and Lois (Binkley), where he was raised and educated. Mike married Suzanne (O'Brien) on Aug. 16, 1975, in Cincinnati.

Mike attended the University of Cincinnati Pharmacy College. He worked in route sales in Cincinnati, until moving to Bismarck in 1995. He continued route sales for Amcon Distributing until his death.

He loved sports, playing cards, going to auction sales, woodworking, reading and collecting antiques. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter.

He is survived by his wife, Bismarck; three sons, Michael, Pueblo, Colo., Jason, Spokane, Wash., and Adam, Bismarck; one granddaughter, Kaitlyn, Pueblo; his mother, Cincinnati; two sisters, Cheryl (Larry) Hicks and Theresa Stringer, both of Cincinnati; and one brother, Joe (Barbara), Cincinnati.

He was preceded in death by his father; and his grandparents.

Mike's sense of humor, his love of life and devotion to his family will be greatly missed by all.
