Merry Christmas Doc Stienhardt. 2-5-MD. My dad is probably with you swapping stories for FDNY war years. I thank you and miss you all the time. Glad you were my pediatrician back in the 80´s and showing me the ropes in the Melville FD. I hope Lyle , Todd , Tara & Debbie are well. Hope to see you soon somewhere & somehow. (Modern technology......) if Mom is around, send her my love.

I was thinking of Dr. Steinhardt today and so I looked him up and saw this. I am 52 years old. He was my pediatrician in the early 1980's when I was a teen. I always remember him as comforting when I was sick. Miss him being around. I still imagine him the way he was in 1982-84

A wonderful doctor for my three children, and we were fortunate enough to have had minister to one of my grandsons.

A beautiful spirit, an excellent pediatrician who I am sure will be missed by his family and friends.

Dr. Steinhardt was not only my pediatrician, but helped me as a parent with my own son. I can never repay he and Rosemary their kindness and wisdom and friendship as an adult. I am sorely missing Doc. and am so saddened by his passing. My prayers go to his children and wife, Rosemary.
