Christopher English Obituary

Hendersonville-Christopher Wren English, 60, of Hendersonville, North Carolina died Monday, March 3, 2014 at The Elizabeth House. Creative, intelligent, and hard working, he was a good provider and devoted family man. Mr. English was retired from Meritor with 38 years of service. He excelled at everything he did and had many hobbies, but most of all he enjoyed photography, gardening, the outdoors, working on his house, spending time with family, and taking care of his granddaughter.
Mr. English is survived by his wife of 35 years, Linda Tomsic English, daughters, Melanie English of Portland, Oregon, Sarah Bessinger and husband, Jordan of Hendersonville, granddaughter, Hailey Bessinger, sisters, Margaret Nappi, Barbara Adley and husband, Frank, brother, Daniel English and wife, Jane, all of Ohio, sister Susan English of Dallas, Texas, several nieces and nephews and his Great Dane, Maggie. He is preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Therese English of Ohio.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Four Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care, 571 S. Allen Rd., Flat Rock, NC 28731.
