Larry Sigman Obituary

HENDERSONVILLE-Larry Huitt Sigman, 73, of Hendersonville, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Mission Hospital following a brief illness. A native of Henderson County, he was a son of the late Guy and Madge Sigman. He was also preceded in death by a son, Patrick Scott Sigman.

Larry enjoyed being a starter at both Etowah Valley and The Cliffs golf courses. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf and growing and tending to his garden. Larry work at the Hendersonville Post Office with my Uncle, Ray Qualls. I came to know Larry when I had to go into the post office for stamps or etc. He always had a smile on his face and cutting up and joking around. I remember the last time I seen him and his wife was at Denny's in Hendersonville,NC. He was laughing and joking about Uncle Ray. He said that he felt sorry for me that I was Ray Qualls niece. He always asked,"how's that Ray?" Larry was sucn a nice person. Sorry to hear of your loss. My sympathy and prayers are with you and your family at this time of sorrow. May God Bless You.

Im so sorry to hear the news of Larry's heart attack and passing. What a kind and loving soul. I always enjoyed our visits, trips and meals we shared. Never a dull moment. I'll never forget the dinner at the Chinese Buffett during a visit in Florida and he asked the waitress for the bill and she said "it's flee"! (Free).. larry didnt know we picked up the tab, he chuckled and said Sorry darlin, but there ain't nuthin' in life that's flee!" We laughed and laughed.. thank you for the memories. You will be sorely missed. Thankful that Brenda, Jeff and Chris have a wonderful support system of family and friends. My deepest condolences. ((Hugs))
