Donna Daugharty, 85

Donna Rosalyn Daugharty, 85, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Private family services have been held. Donna will be laid to rest next to her husband Nick Daugharty at the Clark Fork Cemetery.

Donna was born on November 5, 1938, in Emmett, Idaho, to Elvis and Rosalyn Smith. She grew up and attended schools in Seattle, graduating from Cleveland High School.

Donna married Dale "Nick" Daugharty on November 23, 1972 in Federal Way, Wash. She worked for Renton Boeing for 27 years as an interior mechanic. She retired from the Everett plant in 1993. Donna and Nick moved to Ponderay, Idaho, in 1998.

She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed shopping, reading, and her Chihuahua, "Roscoe."

She is survived by her son, Don Erskine of Ponderay; grandchildren, Ryon, Brandon and Leslie; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Craig and wife Rocky Smith of Ferndale, Wash.; a brother-in-law, Dave Daugharty of Cheney, Wash.; and two nephews, Tim and wife Kim Daugharty of Alaska, and Scott and wife Patty Daugharty of Los Angeles.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Nick Daugharty; and sister, Betty Droubay.
