AARON M. CETLIN

1916 - 2016

CETLIN, Aaron M. Longtime resident of Quincy, MA and recently of Stoughton, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2016, at the age of 100. Born on Valentine's Day, 1916, in West Newbury and raised in Haverhill, MA. He was Veteran of World War II - Army Air Corps. in Europe. Aaron was a salesman, in the food service industry, including over 25 years with Concord Foods of Brockton, from where he retired at age 90. An avid music lover and violinist in his youth, he served as a longtime Trustee of Quincy Symphony Orchestra and proud member of Euclid Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Masons. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Florence H. Cetlin and his sons and their wives, Bryan and Susan Cetlin of Sharon, MA, Dr. Dennis and Andrea Cetlin of Potomac MD, and Dana Cetlin and Amanda Darwin of Newton, MA. He was the adored grandfather of David, Rachel, Jenny, Daniel, Emily, and Madeline Cetlin, Rachel Atwood and Ryan Drew. Services at Schlossberg Solomon Memorial Chapel, 824 Washington St., CANTON, on Friday, June 10 at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park. Following the burial family and friends are invited to the home of Bryan and Susan Cetlin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Quincy Symphony Orchestra, PO Box 2, Quincy, MA.02170-0001.
