Albert Carter Obituary

CARTER, Albert C. Of Easton, April 27, 2009; husband of Nancy A. (McMenamy) Carter of Easton; father of Nancy Krasnow of Newburyport, Laurie Carter of Quincy, Steven Carter of Easton and Robin Carter-Childers of Middleboro; brother of Harold Carter of Manchester, NH., also survived by six grandchildren, one great grandchild, many nieces and nephews and predeceased by six brothers and sisters. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Kane Funeral Home 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) EASTON, on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, Easton, at 10:00 a.m. Interment with military honors will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Al's memory may be sent to American Parkinson's Disease Association, MA Chapter, 715 Albany St., C329, Boston, MA. 02118 or to My Brothers Keeper PO BOX 338, Easton, MA. 02356. Nancy and Family - As long as I can remember, Al was a part of McMenamy's. Even as a child going to the park across the street and running over to get a free cup of water, I remember seeing him there with Frank. (Of course, I'm sure they loved to see us coming.) Then he became someone I got to know when I started working there in high school. And amazingly until a few weeks ago, he was still there. He was loved, and will be missed, by many.
