I am so sorry for your precious loss. I am so honored to have known Al he was an incredible man. He will be greatly missed.
August 15, 2015
My condolences to the Thomas family, Al was kind, sincere, honest and most of all a "gentleman" he was one of a kind. He guided my family twice through our most difficult times. I was also fortunate enough to part of the original A's dynasties and family. We were the New York Yankees of the Jr. Park League and Al loved it. He was our # 1 fan, attended most if not all of the games and remains a great owner sponsor. I tipped my hat to you many years ago during those championship years, and I had the privilege to be a part of your beautiful service. You will be missed.

Al Thomas was a wonderful, wonderful man. He was a great friend of my Dad Jeremiah F Galvin. I clearly remember the day my Dad called Al to tell him my Mom had passed away. Al was a rock for Dad and all of us. Eventually, I had to call Al and tell him Dad had passed away; Al was again a fabulous resource for us. This continued with my Father-in-Law and Mother-in-Law. Al was just a great resource for Milton, one of a kind someone who can never be replaced. Rest in Peace my Brother you left Milton a much better place.

The passing of the great Al Thomas is a sad day for Milton. As one of my Dad's closest friends, we had the great privilege to experience Al's warmth and kindness on a regular basis. Al was a civic force in Milton, doing more for the town than anyone ever knew. Al also had a huge heart and helped so many families in need during difficult times. And he always delivered his generosity quietly. We will miss the finest gentleman and snappiest dresser in town.

On behalf of my family, our condolences and thanks to Mr. Thomas and his family. Again, an undisputed definition of a gentleman. He embodied trust, caring and giving back.

Mr. Thomas was the kind of person whose deep inner goodness was apparent from the first moment meeting him. Such a quality is rare but treasured when found in a person whose role is to comfort those who have lost a loved one. Mr. Thomas was the most caring and accommodating in our time of need when our Dad Warren J. McCabe passed away in 2007. Mr. Thomas had a joy about him that lifted our spirits. He was as professional in all his dealings as he was a warm human being sympathetic and kind in honoring all our wishes and unique rituals. He lives in memory among all those whose lives he touched. May this witness of God's love for us all rest forever in the Peace of Christ beyond all understanding.
In gratitude and with deep sympathy to the family and countless friends he leaves behind,
Paula McCabe on behalf of the family of Constance M. McCabe and the late Warren J. McCabe

Al was a Milton treasure. I had the privilege of coaching his team in the Milton National Little League for several years. The kids would love to see him. He always had a kind word and often a treat for them. Most importantly, he was a gentleman who tried to teach us all how to be gentlemen. For that, I am forever grateful and the many kids that he touched are forever grateful. The original Al Thomas Legend, he was truly the last guy to let us down. He will be missed. RIP
