I was in NC with the negotiating team when Andy passed. It was such a sad and upsetting day. The whole team was very distraught. We had a grieving gathering where we talk about what a great man he was and share memories of him. I met Andy in 2015 while negotiating with the Forest Service. Andy was a very kind soul. We talked a lot about music and festivals we both enjoyed going to. He cooked for our team making a great bolognese sauce. He will be deeply missed. I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss him
