Betty,

I remember when you were pregnant with Andrew. I reflect on the long "kid" discussions we had during drill weekends and annual training. I knew Andrew through your love of him. My thoughts are with you and your family at this most difficult of times.

Fondly,

I am from Reading, I did not know your son Andrew. My daughter did. She and all of her friends were deeply distraught and saddened by this tragedy. They said he was a kind and decent boy, from a great family. I can't even comprehend the pain you all are going through. I am heartsick for all of you. Children are not supposed to go before there parents, it's all of our worst nightmares, and it could happen to anyone of us, a tragedy like this, anyone of us! My heart aches for you all, may god hold you in his arms and try to heal your broken hearts at this time of great loss and suffering. God Bless you all.

I didn't know Andrew, but I know that he was raised in a warm and loving family. Its also clear from the eulogies that those who knew Andrew saw him as a kind and caring person. You and your family will be in our prayers.

Dear Betty, Mark & Douglas,

On behalf of my Son Adam Maksou myself and Adam's brother Nicholas,

sister Jamahl, our deepest sympathy goes to you and your family.

Andrew was a dear friend of Adam's.

They shared a friendship and bond that Adam will forever miss. Although Adam is unable to be in touch with you directly he sends his love and thanks to you Mrs. Wilder for the many kind gestures you made to him. Know that Andrew's young life enriched the lives of the friends that cared for him so deeply. God Bless you with his comfort and love,

Our empathy and friendship,

Gail, Adam, Jamahl, Nicholas (Maksou)
