Ann C. FIORE

FIORE, Ann C. (Dunlea) Of Braintree, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully, on June 22, 2025, at the age of 85. She was born on July 22, 1939, in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Dunlea.

Ann was raised in Hyde Park. She graduated from Girls' Latin School and then Stonehill College (class of 1961), majoring in math. It was at Stonehill that she met the love of her life, Peter Fiore. They moved to Braintree in 1964 and welcomed three daughters, Caroline, Kathryn and Julianne. They were married for 61 years.

Ann dedicated her life to her family and cherished the time she spent raising and guiding her daughters. Ann also loved to travel, especially to Europe. She enjoyed planning trips for her family and then for herself and Peter. They traveled extensively during their married life. She welcomed five grandchildren whom she cherished and loved spending time with. We are so grateful that she was our mother; she was bright, loving, kind, and generous. She was the heart of our family and will be missed tremendously.

Ann leaves behind her husband Peter; daughters, Caroline (Stephen) of Needham, Kathryn of Harwich, Julianne (Phillip) of Braintree; and a sister, Margaret Dunlea of Braintree. She also leaves five grandchildren: Sarah, Hannah, Joshua, Margaret and Grace.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 856 Washington Street, Braintree, MA, on Friday, June 27, at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in West Roxbury, MA. At the request of the family, Visiting Hours have been omitted.
