Of West Roxbury, October 19. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Charles L. McDevitt. Loving mother of Charles L. "Chuck" McDevitt Jr. and Michael J. McDevitt, both of West Roxbury. Sister of the late Mary Newman and Georgine O'Hara. Loving grandmother of Patrick and Michael McDevitt of Erlanger, KY. Dear aunt of Paul Newman of Sharon, William Newman of Hyde Park and Donna Newman Spillane of Mansfield. Funeral from the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home, 10 Tower St., (opposite Forest Hills MBTA Station) JAMAICA PLAIN on Wednesday, October 23 at 10:15 a.m. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa's Church, West Roxbury at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Interment Forest Hills Cemetery. Late member Women's Traffic Club. Member Catholic Memorial Mother's Club and worked as a volunteer in that school's office.
