ANN WEINER Obituary

WEINER, Ann Lee Ann L. Weiner, of Swampscott. Beloved wife of the late George Weiner. Deeply loved mother of Jonathan Weiner of Swampscott, MA, and Jill Weiner and Bruce Todtfeld of Swampscott, MA. Best friend and adored grandmother ("Nami") of Chelsea and Gabby Todtfeld, with whom she shared endless laughter. Ann even fell in love with her daughter's dog Gus and her granddaughter's dog Ziggy. Ann grew up in Lynn, the daughter of the late Charles and Thelma Beden. A true fashionista and bargain shopper to her core, you would only ever see Ann dressed in a fabulous outfit accessorized with funky jewelry and sunglasses, often speeding around town in her beloved black convertible. Ann was a promotional model for many years, and more recently worked at Trader Joe's in Swampscott preparing and serving samples. Ann was the sister of Ellen Kessler, the sister-in-law of Ruth Shaffer, Gerald Weiner and the late Edythe Katz, and the adored aunt of her nieces and nephews. She was also so grateful for her dear friends. A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, March 2 at 11:00 AM at New Tifereth of Winthrop Cemetery, 232 Fuller street, Everett, MA 02149 followed by shiva at her daughter's home. Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Epstein Hillel School in Marblehead, MA, a school that she truly loved.
