ANTOINETTE T. CALLAHAN

CALLAHAN, Antoinette "Nan" T. 86, of Falmouth, passed away at the Falmouth Hospital on January 10, 2013. She was the beloved wife of John E. Callahan and the daughter of the late Pasquale and Alvina Ruzzo. Nan was born in Grottaminard, Italy on January 1, 1927. She attended St. Raphael School and graduated from Hyde Park High School in 1945. Nan and her husband John were married in 1950 and made their home in Hyde Park until allocating to Falmouth in 1987. Nan worked many years for Travelers Insurance in Boston as a supervisor. Once retired, her home became the location for many family gatherings, where she shared numerous family traditions with her husband, her children, and her grandchildren who were the great loves of her life. Aside from her loving husband John, Nan is survived by her two sons, John B. Callahan of Falmouth, Kevin A. Callahan of Berkley, her brother Gerard Ruzzo of Williamsburg, VA, four grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
