Oh how we wish that you, Joyce, were able to be in Florida any time in the last months! Or to be there for your mother now. But we are sure that your father and mother both well knew before, and know even more now, just how much you love them.

Really moved by Dr. Richmond's January 3rd Sun Sentinel obituary.
Inspired by how it captured a life well lived, complete with enduring and endearing character traits, place name references, and the sweetness of humanity in living a "connected life with companionship and purpose."
Thanks to Dr. Richmond's family for capturing his legacy and may future generations come to emulate his kindness and commitment.

Dear Elaine. Oh how I remember what good times we had at Cousin Evelyn’s pool with Arnie & you. He was a peach... kind & funny. I wish I still had the photo of Arnie, Evelyn & me in the hot tub!
So sorry for your loss. It is without question so sad. Hope your plethora of beautiful memories will give you solace.

To Elaine, Joyce, and Gary,
I have such fond memories of Arnold. A wonderful and kind family friend. My parents had such a wonderful relationship with you Elaine and Arnold, and we have such nice memories of you both at special family functions. Some people, and Arnold is one of them, leave and imprint on your heart. May his memory be a blessing.

Dr. Richmond,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when when you served with the U.S. Naval Construction Battalions during WW II. The Seabees were some of the unsung heroes of the War-they built airfields, advanced bases and improved naval anchorages and when they had to they would put down their tools and pick up their weapons and fight. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
