After Graduation she attended the Executive Training Program at the Jordan Marsh Company, where she met "fellow worker" and future husband James F. Quirk Jr. Barbara became a buyer and manager for the women's ready to wear department in the Boston store. For over 10 years she worked for Jordan Marsh, retiring in 1961 to have children and raise her family. She was also a supporter and member of St. Elizabeth Seton Church for over 50 years, serving on many committees supporting parish activities. Quirk III and wife, Adrienne Lotoski of Wellesley, MA, and their children, James, Kathryn and Emma; daughter Deborah A. Barbara was a wonderful woman and friend. We had a lot of fun at the Wellness Center working out and eating out. She did talk a lot about her children and grandchildren. She was so proud of them all. We will all miss her.

Our sincere condolences for the loss of your mother and grandmother. We knew her as our good friend and 7:30 Mass participant and post Panera breakfast partner. We spent lots of time together and benefited from her wisdom. Barbara shared her love of family and devotion to her grandchildren too. She will be sincerely missed.
