Two years on and fond memories are fresh as ever.
I do not know of anyone who has held a position of office for 46 years, without any break or interruption. The American-Pakistan community of New England will remain indebted to you forever, for the amazing legacy you have left behind.

Dear Lane and family,
We extend our condolences to you. We're sorry to hear the news. We didn't have too many contacts with Barry, but the ones we did have were a good experience. We had the privilege of visiting your home on Squirrell Island and meeting most of the family. It became very rainy and stormy that night, and there was a question of whether there would even be a service in the morning at the chapel where I was invited to lead the service. However, minutes before the service began, the rain stopped, and the sun came out. A good number of people came. I'll never forget how after the service, Barry surveyed the people as to how they felt about the service and my sermon. He seemed rather pleased to give me a positive report! We'll never forget our experience of Squirrell Island and other times we spent with you, Lane, and Barry. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Henry and Millie Buckwalter
