ANDRUCHOW, Protodeacon Basil William, PHD 72, of Saugus, and formerly of Worcester, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 12, 2013. Loving husband of 48 years to Mary Rose (Long) Andruchow of Saugus; devoted father of Peter Andruchow and his wife Kristin of Saugus, Father Nicholas and his wife Merilynn Andruchow of Rosarito, Mexico, Lena Helen and her husband Paul Filanowski of Philadelphia, PA and Natasha and her husband Gerard Vogt of Saugus, brother and brother-in-law of Paul and Stephanie Andruchow and Mary Anne and Dennis Foley all of Stoughton, MA and Walter and Barbara Andruchow of Plymouth, MA,; grandfather of Atticus, Owen, Joshua, Luke & Elias Andruchow, Xavier & Anneliese Vogt and William Filanowski. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 7:00 PM in St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 64 Forrester St., Salem, MA. A Funeral Liturgy will be held there on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, MA. Retired Quality Assurance manager of Comm. of MA Water Commission (MWRA) for 12 years retiring in 2007. Graduate of Boston College, Masters Degree from Holy Cross College and teacher there for 7 years, Doctorate from Tulane University, New Orleans, Former member of Holy Trinity Church, Boston.
