BONNIE BALDWIN Obituary

BALDWIN, Bonnie S. Bonnie Baldwin, 68, of Medford and Rockport, passed away suddenly on January 15th, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Muriel (Beaulieu) Baldwin and sister, Deborah (Baldwin) Hamilton. Bonnie is survived by brothers Robert Baldwin of Wichita, KS and Bradford Baldwin of N. Falmouth, MA. She also leaves niece, Jennifer (Baldwin) Whalen of Colorado Springs, CO and nephew Matthew Baldwin of Watertown, MA. She attended North Attleboro schools and was a graduate of Briarcliff College and Simmons College MBA program. Bonnie worked most of her career in the real estate field, first at Skinner Auctioneer and Appraisers and later as founder of Baldwin Investments Appraisal Group. Appraising was her first passion, but her friends, Cavalier King Charles dogs, Persian cats, love of Rockport, reading, golf and cooking brought her much happiness. Family and friends will truly miss her. A celebration of Bonnie's life will be held at a later time.

A few days ago I called and texted and emailed Bonnie not having heard from her for a long time . My wife and I were a bit worried when a phone was disconnected and she wasn't returning calls . I and my wife have known her for 25 years or so. I'm a real estate broker in Cambridge and our paths crossed dozens of times and we became friends . We visited Bonnie many times in Rockport and had dinner with her there and at other restaurants . Spent many days sitting on her deck having a glass of wine and watching the passers by . Her dogs were always there with her . Then my wife asked if I had heard from her and I said no at which point she googled her name and we saw the obituary and were shocked . My wife had visited her at her Medford house last fall and that was the last time we heard from her . Bonnie was a nice lady, very feisty but with a heart of gold and will be missed by us and all her real estate friends in the cambridge community . May God bless her and we will say a prayer for our friend

May the God of all comfort strengthen your family during this time of loss. God certainly keep our loved ones in his memory because they are truly precious to him. (Psalms 116:15) My sincerest sympathy.

I knew Bonnie personally and professionally. She loved real estate and when I sold her house in Medford she said it had character and a soul. She just loved it. Bonnie was charismatic and a straight shooter. Honest and sincere with great outlook.

I will watch for the services.
