We have a plaque with Brian´s picture on the wall at Morrison Mahoney. Every time a new person comes into the office, they ask about him and we all are so happy to share memories of him. We miss his smiling face and his sense of humor.

Here is the announcement that I sent to the Northeastern University School of Law community. I am very for your tragic loss. Jeremy Paul, Dean and Professor of Law.
It is with a heavy heart that I inform our community that one of our graduates, Brian Patrick Morrissey, suddenly and unexpectedly died last Thursday. Brian was a well-liked and highly respected student who distinguished himself in many ways, including as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Journal. Following graduation Brian served as a law clerk to Justice Joseph M. Jabar of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court before assuming his current role as an associate at the law firm of Morrison Mahoney LLP here in Boston. Our profession has lost a promising, young attorney, and our community has lost a kind and caring member. Details concerning services and a way to contact Mr. Morrissey's loved ones appear below. I know everyone joins me in extending our condolences to the Morrissey family.

To read and hear of all he's accomplished in such a short amount of time is nothing short of amazing.
Without a doubt, he's changed many lives for the better, and we are at a loss without him.
Very heartfelt condolences go out to Kathryn, Leo & Sandra, and also to the rest of his family & friends.
Rest in peace Brian.

I only had the pleasure of knowing Brian for the last few months, but in that time I came to regard him as a friend as well as a coworker. He was very welcoming when I started at MM, and his door was always open whenever I wanted advice on a case, needed a pep talk, or a quick chat about our weekends. He was one of the most genuine and kind people I have ever met and he will be sorely missed.

I was fortunate to be Brian's personal assistant at Morrison Mahoney. He was my boss, but also my friend. He had a great love for his parents and his soon-to-be fiance Kathryn. I will miss all his stories and him asking me everyday at 3 p.m. if I would like a Starbucks coffee. The office won't be the same without his sense of humor and smiling face. Rest in peace Brian.
