So many wonderful memories of Chuck and Fran at St Paul´s. Chuck would run a British Mother´s Day breakfast. We did have fun!

I send my deepest sympathy to Chuck's daughters, grandchildren, and family. John and I knew him at the Church of the Holy Spirit, where he was instrumental in keeping the church going for a long while. We shared having Phil Krug as our minister, for us in Weston, for him and Frances in New Jersey, and we enjoyed having that to share.
I could always count on Chuck to bake his special bread for me for the Holiday Open House in Wayland Center, and he kept me fully informed about my friend at Traditions when her circumstances were not the best. He told me once that he didn't feel he was too young to move to Traditons because there was a role for him there helping others. His joke telling was probably one great way of helping.
Chuck has a special place in my heart and I will miss him dearly, as will you and all who knew him.

To Chuck's daughters: I met your dad at Traditions of Wayland, where my mother, Patsy Whitlock, has lived since 2015. Aside from being a charming man to talk to, he lived with integrity. I graduated from Harvard 31 years after he did, but he responded with alacrity when I asked him to sign an important petition to our alma mater a few years ago. But most significant, of course, was his love of jokes and the fact that, for so long, he told one every morning after breakfast to all who would hear. By making a space for laughter he improved the quality of life of all who lived there. I am pleased to have passed him some good ones. ;-) What a wonderful man. I will miss him.
