CHRISTOPHER BATE Obituary
29 years of age, entered Life Eternal unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, August 15, 2013. Chris was born in Malden and was a graduate of Holbrook High School class of 2002. He was a sports enthusiast for the Celtics, Bruins and the Patriots. Chris always had a special place in his heart for Tears, his cat, and his beloved dog Ace. Chris was employed as a customer service representative at IKEA in Avon. He is survived by his loving parents Michael J. Bate and Linda J. (Laiosa) Bate of Holbrook. He is the devoted brother of David J. Bate and his wife Bonnie of Milton, Daniel J. Bate and his wife Jonele of Holbrook. He is the loving uncle of Haddon, Jacob, Ashton, Lilly, and Madison. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him very dearly. Visiting hours will be held at the Mortimer N. Peck - Russell F. Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, BRAINTREE on Monday, August 19th from 4-8pm. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 20th at 9:00 A.M. to be followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church, 153 South Franklin Street, Holbrook at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Holbrook. Memorial donations may be sent to the Quincy Animal Shelter, 56 Broad St. Quincy, MA 02169. www.peckservices.com

I am sorry for loss of your beloved "Chris". As a I am a mom amd feel your loss of a child. My only daughter passed away after a long illness almost 3 years ago; she was 33. It does not matter what age your daughter or son i. When you loose them, it does not hurt any less. May Christopher's memories help to soothe all you feel now and always.Frankie May and Gus RIP love always your families, friends and all those who will always love and remember you.
