Dear Mr. and Mrs. Cady and family,

My most sincere and deep condolences to you all for the tragic loss of your son, Chris.

I briefly met Chris at the home of Andy Houlahan, on Martha’s Vineyard in the summer of 2001, where I was visiting my daughter, Erika Togashi, who was also living and working there with Matt’s closest Colby friends.

Through Matt and Erika these past 2 years, I have had the benefit of keeping abreast of Chris’ exciting life path and plans. He was living life to the fullest and I hope that provides some little comfort to you and all those who knew and loved him best.

With regards,

Eileen Togashi

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Cady,

Chris worked for me several summers ago at The Mother Church. And it was such a pleasure to have him on our Sunday School Team. He would do anything and always with a smile and great enthusiasm, humor, and grace. I really came to treasure him. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and Chris' family and friends. He will be missed. At this moment, my comfort is in knowing that someone so full of life can't help but continue to express Life. And that God has Chris tenderly tucked under His wing. With so much love,
