CLARA MASLOW Obituary

Maslow, Clara R. Of Concord, MA, died June 1st, at the age of 99. She lived at home, with the generous help of neighbors and friends, until the end. She worked as an educational consultant into her 70's, and self-published four books in her 90's. An avid gardener, cook, seamstress, traveler, and reader, she was deeply concerned with the struggles of ordinary people around the world, as well as for the earth and animals. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Maslow of Concord, MA, and her son, Jonathan Maslow of Passiac, NJ. She is survived by her brother, Jack Rosenberg of Tinton Falls, NJ, her daughter, Jane Cohen of Austin, TX, her granddaughters, Emily Cohen of Cummington, MA, Jemma and Mariah Sager of Austin, TX, and her great-granddaughter, Talya Eiseman of Cummington, MA. Donations in her name can be made to: Massachusetts Audubon Society. There will be a memorial in the fall, please contact the family for details.
