CLAUDIA HANSEN Obituary
Born on March 20th, 1946 in Colorado, and raised in the Lower Mills of Dorchester, MA. She was a resident of Whitman for the past 40 years, and had a successful career at the New England Telephone Co., where she had worked for 47 years, before retiring in 2011.
In addition to her daughter Jen, Claudia is survived by her sister Claire Tracey and husband Paul of Whitman and her five nephews, Stephen Tracey and wife Lara of Brookline, Philip Tracey and wife Sandi of Pembroke, Scott Tracey and wife April of East Bridgewater, Paul Tracey and wife Erin of Abington and Christopher Tracey of West Bridgewater. Claudia was also a special "Auntie Claudia" to her eight grand nieces and nephews Ryan, Declan, Emma, Sean, Cora, Lily, Benjamin and William.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 7 at 8:15 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) WHITMAN followed by a funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in Holy Ghost Church, Whitman. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, February 6 from 5:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations, in Claudia's memory, to the Susan G.
