Concetta DiCara Obituary

Of Dorchester Nov. 28, 2006. Passed away peacefully at the Eventide Home in Quincy at age 91. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore V. DiCara. Daughter of the late Lawrence & Josephine (DiBella) Alibrandi. Loving mother of Lawrence S. DiCara of Boston, Vincent A. DiCara of Gardiner Me. & Virginia M. DiCara of Boston. Also survived by 5 granddaughters, Funeral from the John G. Molloy Funeral Home 1126 Washington St. DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS on Sat. Dec. 2, at 9:00 AM. funeral mass in St. Gregory's Church at 10:00 AM. Relatives & friends kindly invited. Visiting Hrs. Fri. 3 - 7 PM. Parking in rear of funeral home. Interment St. Michael's Cemetery. Concetta was a retired music teacher in the Boston Public Schools and had been active in a number of charitable religious and civic organizations including St. Gregory's Church, the Catholic Daughters of America and the Ashmont Chamber Music Society. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Gregory's Parish, 2223 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester, MA 02124 or to the DiCara Donor Advised Fund, c/o MCF, 24 Main St., Ellsworth, ME 04605. John G.
