So sorry to hear belatedly of Tony's passing. He was a unique personality and a fun guy to be around.I met him as a vendor to the SSA and interacted with him for many years.I always thought of him as the "mayor of the JFK" I am grateful to have had the opportunity to have known him.

Tony was the first person I met coming to Region I after working in California. He made me feel at home in my new job. He was one of the nicest people- he will be missed greatly at the office.

I saw Tony almost every morning. He was always in good spirits, kind and smiling...even when walking across the windy plaza! He was also one of the most friendly and out going people in the JFK. He greeted everyone! He will sorely missed.

A ray of sunshine every morning, that's what Tony was for me. Tony always brought a smile to my face knowing that there was a story to be told. He was smart, quick witted ( I never won a verbal spar), honest ( never pulling any punches), generous, and so very funny! A genuine human soul, he wore his feeling on his sleeve (along with the shamrock and Santa) and was never afraid of who he was.
I am so sorry he never got to enjoy his time in retirement (How many months, and days was it, Tony?) . However while here, he made a little piece of the world a better place and I'm sure he is now decorating his new space with shamrocks and leprechauns and looking around to see what other improvements could be made.
To quote an Irish proverb, "A light heart lives long". Tony had that light heart.I will remember him fondly.

To the Fleming Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Tony was certainly "One-of-a-Kind". I could always count on him to make me laugh with a joke or a story. I'm glad I knew him. Rest in Peace Tony.

Tony was truly my first friend in the Boston ORA at CMS. He loved teasing me about growing up in the South and we shared many terrible jokes and laughs over it. To all of the Fleming family, you have my deepest sympathy. Tony was a dear friend and will be missed more than words can express.

Tony and I were close friends for many years stating when he first worked at the JFK. He saw me through a lot of ups and downs and always lent an ear to listen to me. We had great times doing lunch, dinner and shopping trips especially to the "Tree". Tony rest in peace. I will always remember you and our times and friendship.

He always called me princess--something that only Tony could get away with. CMS now has a Santa Claus-sized hole that won't easily be filled. A truly kind, funny, and all-around great guy, Tony will always be fondly remembered by his CMS colleagues and friends.

Tony was one in a million and will be missed more than he would have ever imagined. Our workplace will never be the same and every holiday that rolls around will remind us all how much he loved life. May he rest in peace in our hearts. Deb Osborne

Tony was loved and respected by so many at the JFK Bldg. He was honest and straight forward and didn't couch his opinions for the ease of others - but had the charm to over-ride that unease others may have felt. He was a rare and special person. He was effective in getting things done. His biggest asset was his big heart. I remember Tony giving his new copy of a Harry Potter book to a child on a train - Tony always gave to others - in short - one of the best people I'll ever miss. Love you Tony, rest well. BK
