Five years have passed since Dave’s death , and yet Sandy and I frequently recall a kindness shown, an inspiring conversation, or a humorous, self-deprecating anecdote. Just this morning Sandy and I chuckled over a “Davism”. He has given Ginny and the rest of his family as well those lucky to be his friends so much that keeps his memory alive.

As we approach the end of the one year since David's death, I can not recall how many times I've thought of him. He was a good friend, a teacher, and a role model. Miss you Dave.

It is with shock and grief that I just heard of Dave's passing. Although I knew the battle he was facing, I guess as time went by, hopes rose that he could beat this thing for a long time to come. At least he did not have to suffer for too long and was able to live such an active life right up to the end. He will be sorely missed and I will always remember him as not only a great lawyer, but more importantly, a kind and good man who I was proud to say was my friend. Rest in peace. Our prayers and thoughts go out to Ginny and the Gadbois family.

Although David's passing was not unexpected I still feel the loss.
We shared any a hunting trip to the Great Northern Maine Woods.

David, along with his family, have been a part of our family for over 37 years, and in a way will continue to be. David's life was worthy of celebration, and will continue to be long after the grief is gone.

Ginny and Family,
Please accept my heartfelt sorrow. David was my coach, role model, and hero. I am glad that we able to re-connect after over 50 years. It meant a lot to me. Elaine & I echo Sue (Curtis) Carter's thoughts of David.
