Dear Barbara and family,
I worked with David for over 25 years although we were in different Walker offices. He was a good engineer and a good human. He was always thoughtful, insightful and found the noble in others, something that seems to be harder and harder to find in today's critical world. . The world was a better place because he was in it, how he handled himself and how he inspired us to look for and to become the positive influence in the world. I'm sure that influence is greatest in his family, as he talked with joy about his children's growth in virtue and self-sufficiency. He will be missed greatly. Gregory Neiderer, West Chester, PA

Barbara Johnston and Family:
I cannot imagine the feeling of sorrow you are enduring at this most difficult time. My greatest sympathy for your loss of David a good friend and Colleague. I was very fortunate to have known David and shared many work and home experiences . Dave always kept to a lighter side of life and laughter and it was one of his great personality traits. He was a very proud father of his family and shared their many achievements with me.
David you will be surely missed for a long time by the many people that had the fortune of knowing you. May God Bless you and your family in this tome of sorrow.
