MARSON, David M. David M. Marson- of Dedham, MA formerly of Jupiter, Florida, age 98, on January 29, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Sheppard). Son of the late Julian and Fanny (Slosberg) Marzynski. Devoted father of Marsha Moller (Edward) and Deborah Marson (John Faldetta of blessed memory). Proud grandfather of Jessica Sargent (George), Mark McNulty (Marisa) and Samuel Moller. Great-grandfather of Charlie and Whitney Sargent. Brother of the late Richard Marson and his wife Vivian Marson and their children Lisa Marson, Barry Marson (Kathleen) and Judith Jacobs (Ronald). Cousin of Roger and Myrna Landay. David was a Navy veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He was devoted to his family and his alma mater Colby College '48 where he served as a trustee for twelve years. David followed his grandfather and father as third generation running the family business NewCan Company and sailing on his beloved yacht Hero with his intrepid family crew. Service at the Chapel at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St., Sharon, MA on Thursday, January 29, at 1:00 pm. Memorial Observance at NewBridge on the Charles in Dedham, following Interment until 6:30pm and on Friday, January 31, from 1-3 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Colby College or Combined Jewish Philanthropies or the charity of your choice.
