Dear Carol, Craig, Lyssa, Linds,Will, Lisa and Dave,
We are all sending our thoughts and prayers on the loss of a truly wonderful person. As we have been remembering David the past few days, the words kind, friendly and thoughtful came up often. He always thought of others and was truly interested and genuine when he asked how we were. Christopher still remembers playing golf with him and said all the above but added, "He had a great short game and he was always smiling." We know his grandchildren are truly blessed to have such a wonderful "Pa." A true gentleman.
Love from Michigan,
Cathy, Tom and Christopher

As an engineering colleague of David's the best compliment I can give is that a client was confident it was right when David worked on their project.

It is with my deepest and heart felt sympathy that I express the loss of David G Merry. He was my mentor at T.K. Dyer as Chief Track Design Engineer and I will miss him deeply.
He was a great golf partner and I will miss the pleasure of his company on the golf course and the time having our morning coffee, muffin with some great conversations before the morning golf games.
You lived respected and passed regretted, may you for ever rest in peace.
Your friend,
Stephen C. Kapantais
