I came to know David in his role as Chairman of NACORE, the National Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives. He was a great mentor to me as a new member and as a non corporate member. He was hard working and fair, always keeping the good of the organization in mind. I did not learn until today that he had passed. I thought of him as I walked through the halls of a different real estate trade show and saw a display of Dunkin Donut materials. David was a class act, and Dottie was right there with him on his journey through life.

Dottie, I was so sorry to hear the sad news about David. He was a leader for not only the Broken Sound community, but also the entire city. He was also an important personal mentor. We who are involved in local government will not forget him, and he will be greatly missed.

Dear Dottie,
I was incredibly saddened at the news of Dave's passing. My sincerest condolences to you and your family.
David played an important role in my life- guiding me to business school and later to the presidency of our company. He was among a handful of executives who built Dunkin Donuts in those early years. Today there are millions of people around the world whose lives wouldn't be as sweet if didn't start with a cup of IkDunkin coffee. There are also thousand of families whose security and income would not be as healthy had it not been for the ownership of their Dunkin franchise.all of these would not be possible we're it not for the effort and skill of David and his colleagues in those early days. These are important contributions that will live on and are a tribute to David's life.
