DAVID THAYER SPRAGUE

SPRAGUE, David Thayer Of Andover and a former 40 year resident of Reading, MA, died September 7, 2016 at the Lawrence General Hospital. David was born in Lynn, the son of the late Lester J. and Evelyn (Mears) Sprague. David served in the United States Air Force and was an Engineer at Raytheon for over 15 years where he worked on the Apollo Project and later taught at the Northeast Regional Technical School for over 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn A. (Sullivan) Sprague of Andover, sons David Mark Sprague and wife Julie of Chester, NH and Andrew Griffin Sprague of North Andover, MA. as well as a grandson David Mark Sprague Jr. of Chester, NH and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call on Friday from 6 to 8 PM at the Conte Funeral Home, 28 Florence Street, Andover, MA 01810. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 10 AM, at St. Augustine Church in Andover, MA. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
