Rest in peace coach...
Paul O'Donnell

I played hockey for three years (1961-1964) at Norwood High School and Don Wheeler was my coach for my junior and senior years; because of Don and the other coaches, my teammates, and our friends and families that went to the games at the Boston Arena; playing hockey for Norwood was my best high school memory. Love and gratitude, Paul (class of 1964)

Oh the memories, Don, from our days at Dr. Johnson's camps to our get together at the Gibbons Farm in 2015, what fun! Rest in peace my dear Friend. You will surely be missed but never forgotten. Mac

Don and I grew up together, went to the Shattuck school and the Norwood Jr. High School together until I moved from Norwood in 1949. We were a group of 5 from Christian Hill who did everything together. My condolences to Dons family.

One of the truly great ones. He will be deeply missed by those whose lives were profoundly changed by those who had the honor of knowing Don.
