DOWD, Doris M. (Bouchie) Of Somerville, August 15, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Dowd. Loving mother of James A. Dowd and his wife Ruth of Quincy, Ruth A. Bergin and her husband Thomas of Wayland, Richard J. Dowd and his wife Lois of Billerica, Mary A. Peacock of Amesbury and her late husband Robert, and the late Joan B. Dowd of Hampton, NH. Dear grandmother of Ryan Dowd of Jamaica Plain, Kevin Bergin of Weymouth, and Kate Duval of Ayer. Also survived by 6 grandchildren. Funeral Procession from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder house Sq.), SOMERVILLE, Monday morning at 9:30, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Catherine Church, Somerville at 10:00. Relatives and friends invited. Calling hours Monday morning from 8:30-9:30 AM. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Doris was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church, Cambridge.
