This is Judy (Bokoske)Knowles. I used to live in Natick, Mass but now in Lake Stevens, Wa. I was so sorry to read about Duncan. I met him years ago when he came to my house for a date on his motorcycle. I'm not positive but think my mother said at the time I couldn't ride on a motorcycle. R.I.P.

Duncan was my friend of 45 years - we worked together in Carpenters Local Union 475 for 30 of those 45 years. He was always honest, trustworthy, loyal and dedicated to the principle of bettering the working conditions of the men and women of Local Union 475. Duncan was a man of a "few thousand words", I would often say that to him and he would give me a broad knowing smile. He was ever optimistic and up for the next challenge. I will miss him, as his work is done here, but I know that many, many people are far better off due to the fact that Duncan worked and lived among us. Duncan, sleep well my friend, I will see you "on the other side" where the sun is always shining and there is no more pain or sorrow.

A dear, dear friend, classmate and teammate. The world is a lesser place without him in it. I grieve his loss and extend my condolences to all of his many family members and friends.

He was my brother, my friend, second in a line of 6. Life will be a little emptier without him. A really great guy who lived a very full life, it just wasn't long enough. We will meet again one day. - Jessie , 5 in a line of six
