My sympathies to the Duffy family. Eddie was a good guy. My Dad, Dan Healy played on The Yaz League in the early days with Eddie. I had the pleasure as serving as “bat girl” for a few seasons. Fond memories

Thinking of and praying for Eddie’s family and close friends. He truly was the Mayor of his (and our) beloved East Milton. Our home neighbourhood has certainly changed, but it was great guys like Ed Duffy who made East Milton such a great place to live. He never stopped fighting for it. Ed, you will be seriously missed. With every warm regard and best wish from 3,000 miles away here in Ireland, Larry Donnelly

Ed was a wonderful neighbor and worked hard to support our neighborhood and town. His dedication was inspiring and his accomplishments very much appreciated. I miss seeing him on his daily walk to get his morning coffee. Wishing the Duffy family much peace and comfort.

I worked with Eddie many years ago on the Bicentennial of the Suffolk Resolves. No one was more dedicated to the Town of Milton. He was also a great friend to our family, especially my dad, Bob O'Leary. He will be sorely missed.

Eddie was a wonderful friend to my parents, Anne & George Thompson. He always had a funny story or an interesting historical fact to share. Milton's biggest Red Sox fan, Eddie and my dad went to the 2004 ACLS home games and then Games 1 & 2 of the World Series. He would never visit them empty handed, bringing a tin of cookies, a book or magazine he was eager to share, or a flower for my mom. He will be dearly missed. My condolences to the Duffy family.
