LORD, Edward P. "Ed" Of Woburn formerly of Charlestown, July 6, 2018. Beloved husband of Judith M. (DeLucia). Devoted father of Arthur Doherty and his wife Zoila of Stoneham, Edward Lord and his wife Melissa of Malden, Renee Pento of Woburn and Paul Pento of Woburn. Loving grandfather of Erick, Lauryn, David, Lena, Tyler, Connor, Jon and Gianni. Brother of Evelyn Tallent, Elaine Martinello, Robert Shields, the late Elizabeth Lancaster, Paul Lord, Patricia Mulligan, Patrick Lord and Roberta Lord. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted in the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Tuesday, July 10th, at 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Ed's memory to the American Diabetes Assoc., 10 Speen St., 2nd Floor, Framingham, MA 01701. Even though it´s almost July 6, I miss and think about you every day. You were the best father and man in the entire universe. You were one of a kind. It still doesn´t seem real using past tense in your name. God does things for a reason, and we can´t question the reason. I know what you´d say if I need advice; I have your voicemails and I will keep them forever. I´m glad you made an everlasting impression in my life, and many others. Many people miss you. I´m glad you didn´t have to go through the pandemic. You were my best friend. I miss talking to you. I love you, Ed. I have your and Aunt Patsy´s prayer cards in my car, and other places... Rest in Peace, in Heaven, in Paradise. Love you always...XO

I miss you dearly. If Heaven had mail, you´d have a lot of it. I just type here. I run into so many people who miss you so much. I hope you knew that you were a one of a kind man and how special you were (still are) to so many people. I meet people all the time who knew you, and they always have something nice to say about you, including their beautiful memories. You helped so many people and you kept it to yourself... which shows the true meaning behind your actions. You were a gift from above to me and everyone. I hope you are enjoying Heaven and met my Nana. She´d love you. I really miss sitting outside with you, talking forever, listening to your memories and just having you here. Nothing is the same...except for the squirrels...they are still around, (haha). The birds, bunnies and other animals have tripped in the yard. You loved nature, and took pride in making it even more beautiful. Just like the song, "What A Wonderful World," it suits you perfectly, always did. Thank you for the inspiration you gave me to be a better person, just by being you. There´s a guy who looks just like you, and he has your mannerisms, everyone notices.
The world needs more people like you, but there will only be one of you!
As the song from your favorite station says, "Only The Good Die Young." Of course, there are many good ppl alive, fact is that no one will ever replace you.

God took you too soon, but God has a plan for life.

You are missed every day and night. Your memory lives on in this life forever.
You did great things in life and you gave the shirt off your back to anyone who needed it. I appreciate the pride you took to make the yard look beautiful. You would be surprised because there was a Robin next under the deck and the three eggs hatched!
