Of Arlington, December 15, 2007. Husband of Margaret (Gildea). Father of Edward F. Jr. and his wife Karen of Arlington, Noreen Gilpatrick and her husband Richard of Littleton and Peggy Ann of FL. Beloved Papa of Richard Gilpatrick III. Brother of Mary O'Brien of Lincoln and the late Jack Sheehan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Saville & Grannan Funeral Home, 418 Mass. Ave., ARLINGTON CENTER, Thursday, December 20 at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Agnes Church, Arlington at 9 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. (Parking attentant on duty.) Memorial donations in his name may be made to St. Agnes School, 39 Medford St., Arlington, MA 02474. Online guestbook and directions at savilleandgrannan.com.

We are so sorry to hear about Eddie. He was always so helpful to Joe and I. Little did we know we would lose them both in the same year. I think Joe called Eddie to help him with his car in heaven. Ya never know.

I new Ed 65 yrs ago in Cambridge, Mass. He was a handsome blonde young man, living with his family, his Mom Molly and Dad Jack...his brother Jackie and sister Mary on Columbia St, we lived one street over on Elm St. My Mom and his Mom came from the same county in Ireland so they were good pals.
