Elizabeth Maude Fox

80, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at her summer home in West Dennis surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald C. Fox. She was born on December 27, 1927 in Lowell a daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Leonard. She was the Founder and Director of Fox Kindergarten and Nursing School of Chelmsford for close to 50 years. She will be remembered most fpr her love and devotion to family and her commitment to educating young children; Donald Fox Jr. and his wife Gayle of Anacortes, WA, Elisabeth Gail Hayden of Westford and Ellen Dagle and her husband Francis Dagle of Westford and her grandchildren; Nicholas Fox, Elizabeth and John Hayden, Bud, Katherine and Jacqueline Hayden, several nieces and nephews. She was also pre-deceased by her sister; Midlred Cassidy, her brothers; Francis, Stanley and Jerome Leonard as well as her son-in-law; James E. Hayden. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday evening from 5 to 8 pm at The Blaker Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Church, Chelmsford. Interment in St. Patrick's cemetery, Lowell.
